Checking in from the village

Hi all!

We’re almost at the end of our time in our home away from home — Bình Thuận. The students all really enjoy being here and are sad to say goodbye. We’ve made some good friends with the locals and a highlight of the day is always riding our bicycles and getting enthusiastic greetings and waves from everyone. It feels good to be so well-received by the people here.

Our next post will feature the three houses that we have been building at their completed stages. For now, here are some photos of a day in the life AND us celebrating Julia’s birthday! She was showered with love all day from her Putney family as well as the villagers.

Meanwhile at worksite #2, there might have been a little bit of extra painting going on! Sam L., Noe, Connor, Rachel, and Annabel pose with our good friend, John, from the Youth Union!
